Schlosser, Sallie, daughter of Samuel and Sarah (Musselman) Zeigler, was born in Lower Salford Twp., Pa., Aug. 22, 1881; died at the Valley Forge Heart Hospital, July 19, 1963; aged 81 y. 10 m. 27 d. Her husband, Vincent C. Schlosser, died July 25, 1944. Surviving are 9 children (Ella-Mrs. Wilmer Godshall, Mrs. Bessie Musselman, Wellington, Myrtle-Mrs. James Reese, Linford, twin daughters-Edith and Ethel, Pearl-Mrs. Joseph Vetter, and Margaret), 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Souderton Church, where funeral services were held July 22, in charge of Russell B. Musselman and Jacob M. Malad, Idaho - Jesse Nicholas Ward, 81, of Malad, died at the family home this morning following a lingering illness.
He was born April 17, 1874, in Snowville, Utah, a son of George and Eunice Alice (Nicholas) Ward. He moved to Woodruff, Idaho, while a small boy, where he received his education. He married Julia Ann Moon Jan. 1, 1896, at Henderson Creek, Idaho. He was a member of the LDS Church and an elder in the Malad First Ward. He was a prominent farmer and livestock grower in the Malad Valley and a director of the Malad First National Bank.
He is survived by his widow, five sons and two daughters: Julia Jessie Lorenzo Ward, George Merlin Ward, Elmer Mosiah Ward, John Clesmer Ward and Elden Keith Ward, Mrs. Ida Daniels and Julia LaVerne Ward, all of Malad; 24 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and two brothers and two sisters: Arthur M. Ward, Malad; Richard A. Ward, Pocatello; Mrs. Eunice A. Harris and Mrs. Pearl W. Thomas, both of Malad.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. in the Malad First Ward Chapel with Bishop D. Dredge Thomas officiating. Friends may call at the family home tomorrow after 5 p.m. and Thursday until time of services. Carolyn Z. "Carnie" MoyerÇ 87Ç of Elm Terrace Gardens in LansdaleÇ and a longtime North Penn area residentÇ died Oct. 13Ç 2006 in Doylestown Hospital. She was married for 64 years to the late Glenn Yoder MoyerÇ who died in NovemberÇ 2004.
Born in PhiladelphiaÇ she was a daughter of the late George Hamilton and Harriet (Evans) Zuch. She graduated from the former Lansdale High School in 1937 and attended Drexel Institute of Technology.
Mrs. Moyer was a homemaker and volunteer.
She was a member of the Church of the Messiah in GwyneddÇ where she served on the altar guild and sang in the choir.
She was a former board member of the North Wales Library and a member of the auxiliary at the former North Penn HospitalÇ now Central Montgomery Medical Center. She was an enthusiastic tennis player into her 70s. As an avid Brige playerÇ she was a member of the American Contract Bridge League. She also enjoyed knittingÇ reading and dining out. She was passionately involved in the lives of her grandchildrenÇ attending their sporting events and making as much time available as she could for them.
Surviving are a daughterÇ Candy Moyer of MillersvilleÇ MD; a son. Christopher G. Moyer and his wifeÇ BarbaraÇ of Blue Bell; five grandchildrenÇ Amelia Carolyn CiambruschiniÇ Joshua Rittenhouse FretzÇ Andrew Todd MoyerÇ Kathryn Elise Moyer and Stefanie Aryn Moyer; a great-grandsonÇ Nicholas Joshua Ciambruschini; and two sistersÇ Anne Gertrude Gessner of BranfordÇ CT and Harriet "Sunny" Rosamond and her husbandÇ BillÇ of Dallas TX.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 1 PMÇ FridayÇ Oct. 20 in the Church of the MessiahÇ Route 202Ç Gwynedd. The family will fellowship with friends following the service. In lieu of flowersÇ contributions in her memory may be made to the John M.
