  Enos went to Canada with his parents in 1850. In 1854 be began teaching school. In 1859 he came from Canada to Pennsylvania again to marry Catherine., daughter of David Oberholzer and taught school until 1866. He then bought a farm in Towamensing township, Montgomery County, PA.
