Death of Mrs. Secor
Mrs. Arvilla Secor, wife of O. G. Secor, died at her home in this city, Monday, October 6, after a long illness, of consumption, aged 53 years.
Deceased was a true, christian woman, a loving wife and mother, and hermany friends will mourn and miss her motherly ways and genial kindness of the M.E. Church, and the funeral took place from the church on Wednesday afternoon; Rev. E. Perry preaching the sermon. Before her death she arranged and planned all the details of her funeral even to selecting the pall bearers. She was ready and resigned to the inevitable and died the death of a happy christian. Deceased leaves a husband, one daughter, Mrs. C. Lamb and two sons, Charley and Walter.
