- The information above was taken from Decendants of Robert Moon, Doris L. Moon. pg956. and from a Book Green Family Genealogy. The book says that William Moon is the son of Robert Moon, this does not agree with D.A.R. papers of Azuba Perkins whose Gr. Grandfather was brother of William Moon. Since Benoni Moon died when William was only 15yrs old, there is a possibility that William went to live with his older brother Robert Moon and perhaps that is the cause of saying Robert was his father. We Seem to have no proof either way.”
